A Brief History of Macedonia Christian Church
Macedonia Christian Church was founded in 1882. Our first building was a small frame building on a small corner of donated farm land. Macedonia was officially organized on November 24th, 1882.
37 years later, the original building could no longer accommodate the growing congregation. It was voted by the congregation to build a new building on the same location. The new building was completed and dedicated on May 21st, 1916. As time progressed, this building would be added onto several times until the decision was made to remove it in 1993.
Today, Macedonia continues to serve the Kokomo area and surrounding communities. We remain dedicated to our mission of reaching out in love to the people around us and helping connect them with the grace and mercy that only comes through the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
